Formerly known as MUTA, the Performance Textiles Association
is the UK’s only trade body representing the industrial
textiles industry representing members involved in activities
as varied as tarpaulin manufacture, marquee production

sheets and reusable healthcare fabric products. It helps
set quality standards, frame codes of good practice and
lobbies the Government on a range of industry-related
safety and environmental issues.
