The Door & Hardware Federation (DHF) was created by a
merger between the Association of Building Hardware Manufacturers
and the Door & Shutter Manufacturers Association. DHF

Formerly known as MUTA, the Performance Textiles Association
is the UK’s only trade body representing the industrial
textiles industry representing members involved in activities
as varied as tarpaulin manufacture, marquee production
and hire, industrial texitles, fabric coating and proofing,
lorry load restraints and side curtains, nets, scaffold
sheets and reusable healthcare fabric products. It helps
set quality standards, frame codes of good practice and
lobbies the Government on a range of industry-related
safety and environmental issues.

was founded in 1947, making it one of the oldest associations

with the craft of upholstery.
